MADE TO MEASURE SOLID PINE DOORS
Barn doors, cottage doors, plank doors, ledged doors, by any name this style of door is a timeless design and looks fantastic in any home, traditional or modern, and offers a great balance between affordability and superior build quality.
Our doors are all made to measure to any custom dimensions.
We offer a range of solid pine internal doors that are handmade and high quality at affordable prices. For a standard sized (1980mm x 760mm) internal pine ledged door in our standard design it is £145 per door. We can also use other timbers on request such as Oak, Sapele or reclaimed timber.
Ledged plank doors are built with vertical planks braced together by three or more horizontal ledges to create a simplistic and strong solid timber door however, for larger sizes we would recommend a ledge and brace design. Ledge and brace doors include the diagonal braces for extra strength and protection against twist making them more suitable for larger than standard sized doors. We can apply a range of finishes from £75 including waxed, stained, painted, varnished and more.
As standard we run the horizontal ledges to the edge of the door, this allows for a finished maximum edge thickness of between 36/42 mm which allows the doors to be hung in a standard 35mm deep door frame if the hinges are fitted on to the horizontal ledges. This means the side of the door with the horizontal ledges will be in the room that the door opens into. We can set the horizontal ledges in if required so the ledges miss the stop lats or rebate of the door frame which will then allow the door to be hung from either side (this is usually required for rooms with a small floor area such as small bathrooms and cupboards where the door opens into the hallway rather than the room) however, we do not do this as standard as it leaves a maximum edge thickness of 18/21 mm which means you will either have to re-position your door frames stop lats or pack out the rebate as most door frames are 35mm deep as standard. We can also supply ledged plank doors to be used as sliding doors. Generally for sliding doors we would advise a framed door as having the door stiles allows for easier installation of the sliding bracket without the need to add latch blocks. A standard sized framed ledge and brace door is £195.

This style of door can be made to be fitted with glazing if required or also in a stable door or bifold design upon request.
We use a Vee groove moulding for our doors however, we can use bead and butt moulding for an additional charge on request.

Steven provides an installation service from £110 per door and covers the whole of the UK alongside the local area servicing Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford and the whole of Yorkshire.
We offer a local delivery service for West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. We can also ship throughout the UK but we do prefer long distance clients to arrange their own couriers when possible, delivery quotes can be easily obtained by using third party courier sites.
